APRO organized 2 training courses, one for each location (Alba and Canelli). They both started in mid June 2018 and ended in mid July 2018.
The course duration was 54 hours, distributed on 9 days.
Pilot structure
Five different teachers alternated themselves on different subjects. Fifty students registered for the course, all of them boys except for one girl. The average age of the students was 15-17 years. Thirty seven students attended the training for UNITS 1-6 INTRODUCTION. Seventeen students attended the training for the whole course. Accordingly, the students received certificate of attendance for the whole training course or for just the Introduction (Units 1-6).
The students developed different small projects in order to be evaluated. Some examples of the developed projects are: Remote controlled lights, Programmable display, Crepuscular light, Watering garden, Talking display, Remote controlled car, Pedometer with vibration sensor, …
